Nathan Schneider

Nathan Schneider is a Provost's Distinguished Associate Professor with a joint appointment in the Department of Linguistics and the Department of Computer Science. He received his BA in 2008 from UC Berkeley, with a double-major in Linguistics and Computer Science, and his PhD in 2014 from Carnegie Mellon University's Language Technologies Institute in the School of Computer Science. His research concerns the computation of meaning in language. At Georgetown he teaches courses in natural language processing and computational linguistics, directs the NERT lab , and co-directs the LegIT lab .
